I purchased A Cat For Your Birthday: Cute Children picture book with stunning illustrations as an ebook. I downloaded this instantly from amazon after purchase, to my cell phone to use with my free kindle app on phone. Unfortunately, my actual Kindle Fire was having difficulties and I could not download to it. So my review is based on using a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone screen.I am always looking for cute children's book on cats, and this one is perfect!
I enjoyed reading this as an ebook. This is a very easy to read book that toddlers would like to have read to them, and young children would love to read along with. The sentences are small and well written. The font is a nice size and easy to read even on my phone screen. The story itself flows well, and is entertaining for the young and old.
I read this to my two year old niece who has three cats of her own, and she absolutely loved it! I believe I read it at least ten times before passing her back to her mom. She liked the pictures, and story.
The illustrations are cute and colorful. The author does a wonderful job telling a very cute story with a nice message. My niece especially loved the page about the kitty playing with 'Adam's dirty socks', and the cute illustration of said socks! Absolutely adorable!
Overall, we LOVE this book! It is cute and creative, and gives a great message to young and old! It is well written and easy to understand! The illustrations go along with the story well, and are very colorful and eye catching! Great read!!

This is a GREAT book. I am a huge animal lover and volunteer at an animal shelter. This is a great book to get kids (and adults) to realize that shelter animals are not bad. This is great to correct some of the shelter animal myths. For some reason it is true that black animals are harder to adopt out. I also love how it does show you that kittens can be a bit much sometimes with getting on the counters and scratching the furniture, but that they kept the kitten. I have a black cat that I adopted from a shelter when he was a kitten. The pictures are cute, but a bit cartoon-y. Not a big deal to me though. This would be good for younger children depending on their attention span. The book was pretty short and an easy read. Overall I love this book and it would be great for a child of any age.

I was exicetd to receive a paper book, but it was eletronic. I just received this morning and read with my 4 year old son and he wasn't very interested but he liked just a little bit because the book is about cat and he likes cat so much. it is an ok book. maybe you like more than we did, just need to try.

Super cute book about adopting a cat for Adam's birthday. This cute short book teaches kids about what a shelter is and that black cats need love too. I used to have a black tuxedo cat so it reminded me of her.
